About me
I moved from the west coast to the Boston area almost 3 years ago and through volunteering to teach English for a free English Conversation class offered to the community at my church, I discovered a huge need for immigrants to learn English.
I am hoping to help people with a desire to learn English to flourish and succeed in their endeavors in the United States.
My teaching style
Because I have a teaching degree and experience teaching. I decided to get certified through Bridge Academy through their TEFL course. I
I use curriculum from Ellii because it offers amazing structure and flexibility to my teaching. It also has assessment tools to determine the learning accomplishments of my students. Because of the language barriers, I use a lot of visual aids and expressive movements. I also use games and props to get students involved and practicing their language skills.
